Dan Esposito

Manager, Electricity

Dan Esposito is a Manager, Electricity at Energy Innovation, primarily supporting the firm’s Electricity Program in developing policy solutions that unlock an accelerated transition to a clean, reliable, equitable, and affordable U.S. electricity system.

Prior to joining Energy Innovation, Dan was a Principal Consultant with PA Consulting’s Energy and Utilities practice. In this role, he helped clients (including developers, utilities, banks, and private equity) understand the risks and opportunities of their power sector investment decisions, with a focus on navigating ever-changing policy and regulatory activity. Before PA, Dan held contracts with Energy Systems Network (supporting the development of an energy storage roadmap report) and the Indiana Office of the Utility Consumer Counselor (assisting with environmental compliance and clean energy development). During his graduate studies, Dan interned with the White House Council on Environmental Quality and the Center for Resource Solutions.

Dan holds master’s degrees in public affairs and environmental science from Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, where he focused on energy and policy analysis. He also graduated summa cum laude from the University of Dayton with bachelor’s degrees in physics and mathematics.
